This commercial square is located in a new urban area and is a large-scale complex that integrates shopping, dining, and entertainment. The internal flow of customers in the shopping mall is high, and the external corners of the walls are highly susceptible to collisions from shopping carts, cleaning equipment, carts, etc., resulting in wall corner damage and tile detachment, which affects the overall image. To address this issue, the mall management has decided to install aluminum alloy corner protection strips at the corners of all public areas. This project installs a total of 8000 meters of external corner protection, with a curved rounded cross-section design and a height ranging from 1.2 meters to 2.4 meters. The surface is treated with brushed silver and has a distinct metallic texture. The protective strip is fixed to the original wall corner through a dedicated socket and screws, and after installation, it is tightly attached to both sides of the wall. After more than a year of use, the surface of the protective strip has only slight scratches and no deformation or detachment, effectively protecting the wall structure and improving the overall maintenance level of the mall.
